Currently, the E-Crane USA Service & Parts Dept. has been re-manufacturing a clamshell grab for Sherwin Alumina, the second largest bauxite refiner in North America. To be sure the job was done correctly the first time, Mr. Steve Suter, Service Manager of E-Crane USA, invited Bally Kissoon, engineering specialist from Sherwin Alumina, to the E-Crane USA workshop in Galion, Ohio to participate in the effort. Opbouw Blockbuster voorjaar 2011

VIDEO: bekijk hier de opbouw van de Blockbuster in de haven van Rotterdam (Klik hier voor een printvriendelijke versie) Voor het plaatsen van de 40 ton wegende betonblokken in de blokkendam, heeft aannemer PUMA een bijzondere kraan ontworpen: de Blockbuster. De kraan maakt het mogelijk om vanaf het land te werken, tijdens de aanleg was PUMA daardoor minder gevoelig voor slecht weer. De blokkendam maakt onderdeel uit van de harde zeewering. E-Crane International USA Opens “Solutions Center” Satellite Office

In January of 2012, three members of E-Crane USA (ECI-USA) moved into a new office in downtown Columbus, OH. The downtown office building is in close proximity to the Columbus airport and is located just blocks from American Electric Power, a client E-Crane has worked with many times. Laatste blok geplaatst in zeewering Maasvlakte 2 bij Rotterdam

Op maandag 30 januari wordt de allerlaatste blok geplaatst. (Klik hier voor een printvriendelijke versie) OOSTVOORNE – De Rotterdamse wethouder Jeannette Baljeu plaatst maandagochtend het laatste blok in de zeewering van de Maasvlakte 2. In april 2011 is begonnen met de aanleg van de blokkendam in de harde zeewering. Dat gebeurt met de Blockbuster; een speciaal hiervoor ontwikkelde kraan.Sindsdien is dag en nacht gewerkt om ruim 19.000 betonblokken te plaatsen.
