INTERSTATE EQUIPMENT TEAMS UP WITH E-CRANE INTERNATIONAL

In an effort to expand the efficiency and versatility of its floating dock barge systems, Interstate Equipment Corporation has announced an agreement to represent E-Crane International USA, one of the world’s most widely recognized producers of hopper barge unloading cranes.

This new agreement gives Interstate the opportunity to combine its dependable line of Port and River Barge and Material Handling systems with the most efficient barge unloading crane currently on the market. Most of the existing E-Crane installations have been on the waterways to offload bulk commodity products such as coal, cement, bauxite and iron ore from hopper barges. Because of its unique balanced design, the E-Crane features low power requirements, and less energy comsumption for lower overall operating costs.

The new Interstate/E-Crane association will benefits customers by providing a single source for efficient, trouble-free material handling systems, including barge mooring and barge haul systems, and now floating fock barge systems equipped with E-Crane unloading equipment for a low cost, totally efficient hopper barge unloading facility.
