… for the grain terminal at Tellines-Gloria (FOS). Tellines is also receiving new investment that will enable it to handle one million tonnes in 2011. New conveyor belts, a new unloader and new crane are being installed. The 1500B Series E-Crane will unload peat and grain for silo storage or for transfer from inland waterway vessels to sea-going ships. The crane was delivered with a mobile hopper and two hydraulic grabs. The hopper will feed two conveyor belts that will transport the grain to the silos.
Meanwhile, The Association of Investment Tellines is building a second tower silo. In total, nearly 24m euro will be invested, half of this by the GPMM. Trade in cereals at the southern French is estimated to reach 1.5m tonnes by 2020. …
