Na het zand komen de stenen op de Tweede Maasvlakte, die al aardig vorm begint te krijgen. Ongeveer 20.000 grote blokken beton krijgen met behulp van een megagrote kraan, de Blockbuster, een plek in de harde zeewering. Die is nodig om het opgespoten land, inmiddels ongeveer 170 miljoen kubieke meter zand ofwel 110 keer de Rotterdamse Kuip, te beschermen.
