E-Crane delegation visits m/v Rickmers Jakarta

Boschmans & Co and Rickmers-Linie invited E-Crane® for a tour on board the m/v Rickmers, the ship that will transport a 1000 Series E-Crane® to China. This E-Crane® is the second E-Crane® purchased by TISCO, the Taiyuan Iron & Steel Company for work on their scrap yard in the Shanxi Province, China. … Of course the bulk handling market has changed over the past year, with less demand from the scrap metal market and more demand from those moving dry bulk. Belgian manufacturer E-Crane® says this shift has not affected sales due to the multipurpose nature of its equipment. E-Crane Training for Allegheny Ft. Martin Station Operators

On Wednesday May 20 2009 6 personnel from the Allegheny Ft. Martin station arrived in Galion Ohio at the E-Crane headquarters for training. Arriving was: Shawn Nuzum, Ralph Beerbower, Doug Born, Tony Altieri, Rick Michael and Mike Kridle. Mark Osborne greeted them and gave a tour of the ECI-USA offices. Mark introduced them to the different departments at E-Crane®. Mark also showed the guys the shop/inventory space that allows ECI-USA to keep essentially every off the shelf item used for the E-Crane®. Barge unloading made easier with E-Crane equipment

E-Crane International USA Inc (ECI-USA), the renowned manufacturer of equilibrium cranes, has recently completed a turnkey system on the Tombigbee River near Leroy, Alabama, USA (see picture above). Power South’s Lowman Power Plant now operates a brand new floating barge offloading station. The centrepiece is a 2000 Series E-Crane rated for 1,500tph (tonnes per hour) for offloading coal or limestone.
