Group Galloo: Commissions its fifth (5th) E-Crane® CARMI, a subsidiary of the Galloo Recycling Group, has just installed a new E-Crane®, the fifth (5th) E-Crane for the Group. This 700 Series E-Crane has over 26 meters of outreach and 6 tons of lift capacity throughout its operating range. The crane will be feeding a new 1400 HP shredder and also sorting and stockpiling scrap. New 2000 Series E-Crane™, Type 15317PD-E on its way to the USA

As of yesterday trucks loaded with the new 2000 Series E-Crane™ are leaving the Indusign workshops in Adegem, Belgium heading for the Port of Rotterdam where the large parts of this E-Crane will be loaded onto vessel. E-Crane International USA flew one of its Service Engineers (Jeremy Johnson) over to Europe to assist the transportation of the crane and to make preparations for the erection in the USA. Accommodate new marine deliveries Progress Energy Carolinas, USA

In the case of Progress Energy Carolinas (PEC), its LV Sutton Plant near Wilmington, North Carolina, is located on the Cape Fear River. The facility is accessible only by barges. PEC wishes to diversity its coal sources to include Venezuela, and it already had a barge pier at its plant. However, the depth of water alongside is only 16 feet. Furthermore, sufficiently deep water for ocean going bulk carriers is 12 miles downriver.
