On April 16th, 2016 in Głogów Old Market, local motorcyclists of Głogów once again organized the event called “Motoblood.” The main goal of the event is to promote voluntary blood donation and the collection of blood for the sick or injured in accidents. New Barge Mounted E-Crane at Mulzer Crushed Stone

In early 2016, Mulzer Crushed Stone ordered a Series 1500B / Model 11264 E-Crane which will be mounted on a deck barge. The E-Crane has a maximum duty cycle capacity of 16.5 Mtons (18.2 UStons) and a maximum outreach of 26.4 meters (86.5 feet). This is a flexible mobile floating offloading platform that allows barge unloading to a shore mounted hopper, floating hopper or direct to trucks depending on the product and location. Nucor General Recycling installed a 700 Series E-Crane for feeding auto bodies into a shredder at their Flowood, Mississippi facility near Jackson. The shredder was previously fed by older material handler which was replaced with the new E-Crane. 15 year old E-Crane at Wayne B. Smith: Still looking and performing great!

At the end of May 2014, President of E-Crane International USA, Mark Osborne, paid a visit to Wayne B. Smith, one of the first E-Crane customers in the United States.  The 1500 Series, Model 10264 E-Crane was installed back in 2000 for offloading bulk material from barges on the Mississippi River. The E-Crane is soon to be 15 years old and is still operating successfully at the site in Louisiana, MO  The E-Crane is very well maintained and still looks like new.  This is quite a testament to Wayne B. Smith management and operators!

Blockbuster Disassembly Has Begun

Friday, January 18th, the first steps of the Blockbuster disassembly began at the Port of Rotterdam. The main boom was first to be removed with the help of two on-site cranes. After several other components of the heavily modified E-Crane were disassembled, pieces of the Blockbuster were loaded for transport. In 2012 E-Crane saw another great year for new orders. GenOn Energy, Inc. purchased a 700 Series / Model 4248 E-Crane for their plant in Newburg, Maryland. GenOn is an energy company that provides electricity to customers throughout the United States.
