Peavey Products needed to improve its barge offloading operation while gaining greater flexibility across the Red Rock Terminal. The previous lattice boom machine limited the efficiency of barge unloading, while the terminal’s diverse operations called for equipment capable of handling different materials and attachments. Rather than dedicating a machine to one fixed task, Peavey wanted a mobile material handling solution that could be deployed wherever it was needed. This versatility was essential for supporting changing day-to-day requirements at the terminal.
